For People Who Drink Wine - and Do Other Stuff Good Too
1300 in the Fillmore District is the Only Time I Could not Finish my Meal.
San Francisco's new soul food hotspot, 1300, brings the heat, the huge portions and one of the cities best wine lists. The chef is supposed to be a massive guy and his food reflects his personality. I ordered the fried chicken after fried shrimp and pork ribs for an appetizer and could not finish my meal. Maybe I should have ordered more wine.
