Nectar in the Marina is sick - but unfortunately it is very Marina. It is great for impressing a date, but will kill your pocket book and I guarantee u will run into someone from work.

Word, I like CAV on Market... but it is a little starch. Just around the corner in the alley is the all time best, Hotel Biron. Has anyone been to that place Terroir? I ran across it the other day, owned by a frog, mad interested in going. Lets rally a group...

Not yet. Amelie on Polk poured my some pretty horrible wine and tried to pamper my gf by giving her a free glass of "champagne" and it was Spanish Cava.

S.N.O.B. on Polk is overpriced as well, but they do have some kick ass jazz music at times.
