Who Are You?: I am Courtney with Howell Mountain Vineyards, I am a 27-year-old lover of all things vino. I am lucky enough to work in one of the Napa Valley's most dynamic sub-appellations, the Howell Mountain District.

My goal with Howell Mountain Vineyards, is to make good wine accessible to the people! I don't talk in terroir or bouquets, I deal in simplicity. Which I belive is what wine should be, simple, delicious, & fun!

Mustard & Wine....

If anyone will be in Napa this weekend, please come visit me at COPIA, for the Mustard Festival's showcase of food, wine, music & art. It's Saturday & Sunday from 11 to 5. Come visit me! Oh yeah, I totally forgot about the good stuff, I am bringing our Chardonnay, Cabernet, and 2 Zins!

My favorite white wine at the moment ist the TOUR SAINT MARTIN 2006 from the Château de la Vieille in Bordeaux. The recommendation you can find here with this dinner:The appetizer is SALMON „MON AMOUR“. As a main course we serve CORN-FED POULARDE WIH ROSEMARY. We finish our dinner with a traditional TARTE AU CITRON.
