I Think You Should Jump Onto the Old-School America Train and Appreciate Beringer Cabernet Sauvignon

Oldest winery in Napa Valley - check

Strong taste of dirt (good thing) - check

Enjoyed by others - check

I hate to waste my alcohol consumption on everyday red wine, but Beringer has allways been very enjoyable. It will not g…

Who Needs Corn and Sugar. Wine May be the Answer to the Oil Crises.

If Prince Charles can do it I can do it.

Who needs corn based ethanol and Brazil's Flex cars powered from sugar cane when u have wine. When the UK Telegraph mentions wine as a fuel for Prince Edwards car I wonder why there is no commodity exchange that allows me to buy into the future price of jug wine.

CMS 2006 Red Blend by Hedges Brings the Thunder

The market is booming over there, but it is a matter of getting good wine over there. I know for a while there were not "Truth in Labeling" standards so anyone could slap California or Napa on their bottles. There was a lot of crap in the market being passed off as the "good stuff". Trade restricions are beginning to be less constraining so more wineries are beginning to take advantage.

We carry our wines, Screaming Eagle, Colgin and a whole slew of others. Making sure the Valley puts their best foot forward.

Yeah, pretty much that's how we roll.

We own a store called "Napa Reserve" in Shanghai where we carry 60 Napa Valley brands and something like 150 different wines. Trying to bring some of the valley to China!

Ugh. Sorry it has been crazy here, we had some guests from Shanghai TV. The winery is going to be closed this weekend since we will all be out of town. :(

I'll check out the Cinque Terra vino and let you know. The best stuff of that area is north of Cinque Terra. We have a few interesting wines we may bring in from the area: Gavi di Gavi DOCG, Monferrato Rosso DOC, and of course the infamous Barbera's and Barolo's. If you want to get on our newsletter just let me know your e-mail address. We do a "wine of the month" section that's got good info. I joined the site b/c I'm friends with Matt Dichiara, he's from my town.
